How does instant booking work?
Your photoshoot is instantly booked and locked in once you checkout. Just add of your photoshoot items to your cart, checkout, and we'll contact you directly to confirm any details.

Will I get my products back?
We're happy to send your products back after shooting. Simply email us a return label or include it in your package. You can even request a return after your shoot is complete.
What happens after checkout?
Once you checkout, we'll contact you with next steps which include creating a custom Creative Brief for your photoshoot as well as your expected photo delivery date.
When will I get my photos?
For product shoots, we deliver all photos within 2-weeks of receiving your products in the mail. For all other shoots, photos are typically delivered within 2-weeks of booking.
Are copyrights included in my booking?
We include perpetual digital licensing for every single image we deliver to you. This means the photos are yours to use anywhere online, forever.
Can I purchase more photos for my shoot?
We aim to provide more images than the amount you originally purchased. This way, you have the option to purchase more photos from your shoot without having to book again. These extra photos are available for purchase/download directly from your custom gallery.
I want a reshoot, is that possible?
Our goal is to ensure you're 100% satisfied with every photoshoot you book. If your photos did not come out to your liking, and you had initially provided all of the details needed to complete the shoot, we'll absolutely reshoot your photos. This is done on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.
Can you re-edit my photos?
We will happily re-edit your photos, and included in every photoshoot you book are limited editing revisions. This way you're always happy with the results which can be tweaked to your liking.
Do you have models to choose from?
Currently, we have a limited number of models to choose from, but ultimately you certainly can choose your preference from our model database. Please be patient as we continue to grow our database and variety in your photoshoots.
Can I bring my own models?
Yes, you can bring your own models. This is a great way to save money on your shoot while retaining photoshoot customization.
Why are your photos priced this way?
Our goal is to make high-end photography booking and easy and seamless process. We've decided the best way to do this is to charge flat-rate pricing per image/photoshoot. This eliminates contracts, negotiations, and hassle altogether.
Why do you charge extra for larger products?
When your products are of a larger size, we will typically have to accommodate by shooting in a larger studio with more equipment. This brings along extra costs that are covered in the 'Large Product' add-on.
Can we shoot anywhere for headshots?
We can shoot your headshots and group photos anywhere local to the greater Maine area. This includes outdoor locations, cafes, hotels, and anywhere in between.
Do you offer referral discounts?
We offer a 10% discount towards your next shoot every time you refer someone to Medium Phormat. The person you referred also gets a 10% off their photoshoot!
Is there a discount for returning customers?
Customers who book our services on a monthly basis are welcome to a return customer discount. This means you'll get 10% off every single shoot you book for being a monthly recurring customer.
Can you shoot in-person outside of Portland, Maine?
We are more than happy to capture your photos outside of the greater Maine area. Travel outside of this area is subject to additional travel fees that can be discussed on an as-needed basis. Our most travelled-to cities include NYC, Seattle - WA, and Denver - CO.
Do you charge extra for travel outside of Portland, Maine?
Any travel outside of the state of Maine is subject to travel fees. However, we often offer a flat-rate fee for travel to neighboring New England cities, including Boston - MA, and Portsmouth - NH.
How do refunds work?
We typically don't offer refunds unless we are unable to complete your photoshoot for whatever reason. More often we'll offer a full credit towards your next photoshoot or a complete reshoot. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more details.
